EDUCATIONAL-METHODICAL ACTIVITY OF THE UNIVERSITY IS DETERMINED BY

  • State compulsory standards of higher professional education in the specialties

All functions provided by the university of state educational standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the types of plans. Also, all workers are provided with a degree curriculum for all grade levels and types of programming disciplines. The plans are designed for 4 years (by full-time education) for 5 years by correspondence courses, and 3 and 2 years of accelerated learning.

The university is working systematically on improving the means and methods of the educational process, allowing to maintain the level of training in accordance with the requirements of state educational standards and ensuring the quality of vocational practical training, meeting the requirements of a market economy.

Training activities of university departments is controlled and regulated in the first place, working curricula. The content of education in the subjects of departments governed by standard and working curricula of disciplines, government requirements, work plans of departments and other organizational regulations.

On the basis of model curricula for all specialties working curricula are developed and carried out their unification in order to create the best educational groups and streams of lectures at the faculty.

The university has developed recommendations on drawing up training programs and job training programs disciplines.

Guidelines of educational works on the scale of the university carries Educational advisory board of the University “Turan-Astana”.

Organization of educational process

The main aspect of the educational and methodical activity is to generalize the practice of methodical work of the department, faculty, organization and management of educational process for undergraduate and graduate programs:

– Preparation of training plans and programs;

– The introduction of new information computer technologies;

– Development of distance education and innovation systems;

– An increase of training of the teaching staff and the training of future professionals for the labor market.

Training sessions are held at the university on schedule in accordance with the curricula and programs. Schedule drawn up for a semester. The university adopted a trimester academic year for the credit system of education. Reliable stable and ensures the continuity of the learning process. The number of subjects studied on a daily basis, does not exceed three. Lectures alternate with practical and laboratory classes. The maximum amount of training load does not exceed 36 hours a week.

Planning educational work of departments carried out in accordance with the curriculum and on the basis of “Regulations on the procedure for planning teaching load faculty.” Distribution of study load between teachers carried out in accordance with their qualifications. Departments provide a monthly report on implementation of the training load in a teaching management.

Methodical development of the university faculty

Serious attention is paid to the publication of educational and methodical literature in the first half of this school year published 14 textbooks.

For all readable disciplines develops Educational complex of discipline in order to improve the quality of training, improving the effectiveness of training activities and presents a set of documents, which is governed by the learning process. ECD is developed by a teacher or team of teachers of the department, ensuring the reading of discipline in accordance with the curriculum prepare students for occupations.

Organization of methodical conferences, seminars and master classes

One of a component of educational and methodical work is the organization and carrying out scientific and methodical conferences, master classes and seminars.

Teachers take active part in master classes and seminars which are held according to the schedule.

At holding of conferences and master classes teachers impart experience, new forms of carrying out occupations, with new technologies and aspects of the organization of educational and methodical work.

During studying of fundamental and special courses the faculty of university uses new technologies of training. Teachers carry out active forms of education: round tables; debate; debates; conferences; business games; use audio-and video materials; seminars on participation of students in foreign educational programs.

These methods allow the student to systematize material, develop his analytical and critical thinking. Within visit of open lectures young teachers adopt experience at professors and associate professors, study a technique of teaching, a form of interactive training, innovative forms of education.

Teachers constantly include results of the scientific works and researches in educational process, thereby developing actual process integration of science and education today.
